Maya Daughtry is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned a degree in Film and Television with a minor in Entertainment Business from the NYU Stern School of Business. She is based in Los Angeles and currently works at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) as a Floating Assistant.

 

Maya is passionate about storytelling, working with actors, and collaborating on team projects. Her outgoing personality helps her connect easily with people from all backgrounds and bring fresh ideas to the table. Last fall, she was an Acquisitions Intern at Bleecker Street, and before that, she interned with Academy Award-winning producer Peggy Stern at SuperDville. For the past four summers, she worked at The Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival as a Moderator interviewing directors and actors and leading Q&As.
